– I have documented the painting process of some of my canvases here. I don't update this site on any kind of regular basis, but if you haven't checked it out before, there is plenty to read and look at.
If you would like to see the paintings in their natural habitat, you can set up a studio visit. Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and we can set a time. Sometimes I have lots of paintings in the studio and sometimes not so many. The best time is when I am about one or two weeks away from a show.
If you would like to be informed of periodic updates to this web site,
please send an email to email@example.com and I will include you on my email list.
Slocan and 22nd Avenue #2, 2016, acrylic on canvas, 57" x 30"
I have uploaded the paintings from my new show – go to artworks and click a small dominion
This show can be viewed at the Gallery at the Cultch (1895 Venables St, Vancouver) until October 29th.
From November 1 until January 31, 2017, the show moves to the Commercial Street Café Gallery (3599 Commercial Street, Vancouver). There is no opening reception this year (the downside of me living far away), but if you go with enough people, you can make your own party – the coffee is great and so is the food.
2017 Terrace Show
My next show is at the Terrace Art Gallery from March 3rd to March 25th, 2017. The show is tentatively titled Deserving Reverence. It will include new paintings as well as some of the art from
a small dominion. The Terrace Art Gallery is at 4610 Park Avenue, Terrace BC
PLACES YOU CAN SEE MY WORK
For those of you in the Prince Rupert area, I am in my studio Monday to Thursday (and sometimes on Friday), and welcome all visitors. The studio is located in downtown Prince Rupert, at 315 - 3rd Avenue West. The entrance is in the side lane, at the 4th Avenue Stairs. The studio is on the second floor (Suite 103) and unfortunately, not wheelchair accessible.
In Vancouver, my paintings continue to hang at the CCEC Credit Union at 2248 Commercial Drive. If you want information about any of the art that you see there, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org
